Inhale X Exhale highlights the moment of nothingness between the sequencing of events, the pause between the inhale and the exhale, and the space that connects the flow of time. I am fixated on simplifying an abstracted reality. The garments of Inhale X Exhale have a simple form with an emphasis on construction and craft. This collection is shape-oriented highlighting the science of pattern making and problem-solving.  Based on my interests in yogic philosophies, spirituality and flow, I designed garments in their "form," a fixed position in time, then examined their collapse on the body after that pause, the clothes in their natural "exhale" on the human body in motion.
